I don't know. I would imagine the majority of Canelo fans and GGG fans already have subscriptions regardless. Canelo fans would enjoy this fight. If GGG fights someone just as good, his fans would probably appreciate it. Also why aren't we hearing anything about him? What's GGG up to?

What the boxing world needs to understand is this... Mexico runs boxing. There has to be a Mexican star to bring the dough in. Us Mexicans just love to fight, and we pay to see other Mexicans fight. It’s not hard to figure out.

But with that logic DAZN would only make money off that one fight and once it's done, fans would never subscribed again.

I think DAZN can count on Canelo fans, at the very least, to resubscribe for every Canelo fight. Or at best his fans will just keep their subscription rolling because in the long run its probably worth it.

They made up a fake belt for canelo and gave the wbc title to charlo so canelo wouldn’t have to.

Let me Explain to you what the WBC “Franchise Belt” means. It basically means that Nelo is the champ champ and doesn’t have to waste his time with nonsensical “Mandatories”. Specially with those who got a paper belt and mando position by beating a one legged guy
