    Saul Canelo' Alvarez has been granted a little more time to decide his next move. The reigning World middleweight champion remains in talks for a mandatory title defense versus top-rated challenger Sergiy Derevyanchenko as three sources have informed BoxingScene.com of a modified-but undisclosed-deadline to conclude such talks.

      Why Derevyanchenko didnt he just recently lose to Jacobs how does he get a shot at Canelo just like that.

                  The I.B.F has him at #1. The usual sanctioning body madness. Just like when Joshua fought Takam after Pulev pulled out. Who did Takam beat to earn that shot? He had lost to Joseph Parker and then beat Ivica Bacurin and Marcin Rekowski? Who? Two guys with a combined 44-15-1 record. Boxing at it's finest!
