would FLOYD have ducked GGG back in 2012-2013? Abel needed ''5-6 weeks for 154''

This is the infamous video from Ellie Seckbach where GGG says 154-168 was easy. Then Abel chimes in to say he can't prep GGG at 154 in just 3 weeks but that he needed 5-6 weeks.

    Abel says ''they.'' who? HBO?

If GGG was as good as he was, undeniably the monster even at 154, why didn't Sanchez and GGG campaign at 154 since 2012? GGG would've easily became a MANDO for either Floyd or Canelo or anybody else. Those were the biggest fights in boxing $$$$$

So why didn't Abel and GGG want to be multi-millionaires since 2013?

Dont you understand Floyd was the biggest name in boxing everybody wanted to fight him, he cannot fight everyone across 5 weight classes so that means he ducked everyone else that called his name.

Do you see how the top guy ducks everyone, this is BoxingScene home of the fanboy.

Berto got Floyd in 2015... this is 2013 we're talking about. and Abel nor GGG mentioned Floyd's name. the context is ''big money fights.'' Isn't that any high caliber boxer's aim?

Gennady could've been ranked next to #1 in the WBA at 154 had he and Abel were serious. Didn't you just watch the video? Abel said he needed 5-6 weeks to prep at 154. Whom were the biggest fights in boxing to impose mandos in either the WBA or WBC?

What are you even trying to say , Berto was the last of a 20 yr career beating more WCs than anyone in history it was a soft finish to wind out his contract and retire.

He beat everyone who was anyone across 5 divisions, he cannot fight them all which means as I said already he ducked everybody he didnt fight, thats how it works with the top guys and ducking on Boxingscene.,

why are you focusing on Floyd? Do you believe Abel that he could've prepped GGG for 154 by only needing 5-6 weeks camp? Wasn't Floyd and Canelo the ideal fight for Sanchez and GGG since 2013?

I wouldn't call GGG a fraud, maybe a ''hype job'' for sure, but it may have not been his fault.

The only problem I had with GGG was post persona Mexican style exploitation and never having a translator to really say what he wants to say.

For instance, Abel in this video is saying he needed 5-6 weeks to make 154. GGG was 30yrs old, about a year younger than what Crawford is today, so back then making 154 would've been easier than in 2015 when Canelo said ''if you want to fight come to 155.'' therefore, in 2012-2013 Canelo nor Floyd needed an introduction for where they were at 154. why didn't Abel just campaign at 154? Wouldn't have HBO liked the idea that if Sanchez assured the network that GGG could fight there, because it was ''easy,'' that HBO could pass the torch since 2013 from Floyd or Canelo onto GGG?

GGG could've made multi-millions back in 2013 had he just campagined at 154 since Abel said no problem...

So, the question remains, would Floyd have ducked GGG back in 2013? Abel did say, in this video, that GGG would be the one ''suffering'' to make 154. But then again, how would it have been ''easy'' then to make 154 if you're suffering..

im a floyd fan and ill be honest i dont think floyd would have fought him at 154....would have been to risky...and who could blame him?

lil g basically openly ducked a featherfisted 168 guy in ward after his trainer claimed 168 would be his best weight and he actually tried to make fights against chavez and froch there....

i agree that calling lil g a fraud is a stretch....hype job is more applicable...but it still feels like a fraud...so much crap talked and so little of it backed up...he was paid for fights by hbo they wouldnt have greenlighted for anyone else

im just tired of the lil g bull****...when its convenient for him he talks about "belts belts belts blah blah"...now that canelo tells him to go get one and beat a beltholder he cries and wants to fight guys like vanes and rolls

I like watching the Canelo vs Mayweather bout. Classic bout, but I could only give Canelo 4 rounds. Mayweather was just too quick even at 152.

If Abel is saying that GGG would be suffering to make 154, then Floyd would have industry informants on GGG's camp condition before hand. Imo a Gennady at 154 is worse than a Canelo at 152. GGG's debut was at 160... 6lbs is a lot of weight for a guy like GGG.

not really arguing with you..... but, that is not really the point

or should I say..... that is not the worse point

FACT: Mr " anyone from 154-168 " totally refused to negotiate, PERIOD

he totally refused to negotiate on weight with 153lb Cotto..... despite being willing to fight 160lb Rosado at catchweight

he could have had the Cotto fight at 157/158, just like Geale

then, a few months after totally refusing to negotiate on weight with Cotto and Canelo..... Golovkin stated that he is willing and able to fight at 154, but nobody will step up..... which is INSANE

it is the OBVIOUS lies from Team Golovkin..... and it is the way that their fanbase totally ignore those lies, like they never happened..... THAT is the real issue, and why Golovkin is referred to as a fraud

but I do agree with you, hypejob is more accurate

a very good fighter, but not as good as advertised..... which answers a LOT of questions about their strange behavior in 2015 when dealing with Ward
