Ind you don't think they could have had planned marketing strategies for the fight for either the 14th or the 28th? If the planned beforehand they absolutely could have. You are acting like I'm saying they needed to just change the date right when Canelo made his announcement without preparing for it. No, I'm not saying that at all. All I'm saying is they should have prepared to go with the fight for both dates if possible, once it became clear that Canelo may not be going on September 14. If you think guys like Pugmire and Coppinger hear this stuff month or months before the official announcement, you don't think people inside boxing know either? You don't think the PBC knew there was a chance Canelo was a no go for that September 14 date?

PBC isn't in the Canelo business. They can't make fights based on Canelo rumors. Why is that so hard for you to understand? You have a very simplistic view of business. Not only simplistic but unrealistic also. July 10th they'd already had date and money spent on the date. But you think they should've took the losses and switched the date 17 days later after Canelo officially announced he's not fighting?!?!?

That's why I said set a deadline of how long you will wait for Canelo to make his decision. If Canelo still hasn't made a decision by that date, then move on to your original plans. But I don't buy they couldn't have had another plan tied to Spence/Porter going on September 14. This wasn't something they would have had to plan in a couple of days. No, if Coppinger/Pugmire months beforehand said Canelo may or may not go on September 14, then it was widely known inside boxing. At THAT point you start planning for both dates. If you don't think they could have pulled that off then fair enough. But.................

I just don't understand why some people are Network/Promotional groupies instead of boxing fan's... Jab jab is just a Nelo hater, I don't think he supports PBC, I actually like what PBC doing, they have been giving us the most quality fights in the last couple years. I can't blame Jermall Charlo for not getting the fights he wants either, I mean he called out golovkin's scared ass..lol..& was the mandatory & Jacobs doesn't even want to fight him, he wants to move up to 168. I want to see all the guys mix it up but I especially want to see the hype jobs like golovkin go 1st against Jermall Charlo, that would be a good fight but dazn is too invested in golovkin's scared ass & don't believe in golovkin, they only want golovkin for Nelo.

Teofimo Lopez admits he has to get head screwed on straight before fighting Richard Commey

Lopez was a guest on Max Kellerman’s ESPN boxing magainze show on Friday, and they discussed how family issues impacted the fighter going into his recent bout.

“I have to regroup within myself,” the boxer admitted, because of making weight, and worrying about how some in his family aren’t so supportive of his union, and he wants to rectify that.

He will look to figure things out, or if he doesn’t, he won’t fight until his head is screwed on tight and straight, he told Max.

No fight with Richard Commey, he told Kellerman, until all the outside the ring stuff gets sorted.
