The best part is that most you guys would have learned by now, with all the PED based stories from PAC/Thurman/Whyte.... that the benefits as any other athlete in sport does, is to use it closer to competition. What was the time frame of Povetkin’s headline toward the Wilder fight date? Whyte and Rivas?

Canelo had a nano trace 80 days away while on vacation the whole time. His whole timeline of pics traveling, months before February, always looked like Canelo.

Usyk is now more swole than ever? Why? He’s no longer calibrating for Cruiser. Canelo was calibrating for 160 while expecting to drain again, building muscle. Even the Canelo in the rematch looks like a comfortable Canelo build versus his fights at 154-155.

There are no Olympic revoking of medals or scandals for athletes 80 days away from an event. PEDS are mainly used closest to competition, like most cyclists having the most PED offenses than any other sport and caught during competition - in race. Contador had Clen during cycling, not 80 days aways. Canelo would still have to have done random testing anyways. Never failed.

Nobody believes him. If Pac failed test people would no longer have Pac above Floyd as best of era trust me.
So why be gentle with nelo?

Pac never had to do testing 80 days out. What's worse, ''I wish Pac and Thurman had ''full VADA testing..'' - Breadman Edwards

In boxing there's no such thing as not doing ''full advanced testing.'' That's the most oxymoronic code of conduct

            This is easy -

Those who aren't fans of Nelo will say he should have been literally crucified.

The rest of the world is ok with how the situation was handled.

I always assumed it was more about increasing muscle mass, so you get more meat per head of livestock than about increasing the quality of the meat... regardless it's banned for use in livestock just about everywhere on earth they got even rudimentary food standards - including Mexico - due to concerns over potential side effects. I wouldn't knowingly eat meat with that ish in if it was some elite Kobe Wagyu type ish... though I have seen some posters on here expressing some weird kinda twisted national pride in their tainted beef...

Regardless - I ain't ever claimed Canelo is guilty based upon the available evidence, but it is worth noting that fairly simple steps can seriously reduce the possibility of meat contamination if there is some concern about it.

You're probably aware of the story of the Youth U17 world cup in Mexico, which highlighted just how prevalent the problem was... over 50% (109 of 208 samples) of visiting players were found to have traces of Clen in their urine after presumably only a few weeks exposure to the local food.

Funny thing is the Mexican team all pissed clean - how about that? Their secret? Fish and veg diet.

A majority of the players tested at the Under-17 World Cup in Mexico had traces of clenbuterol in their bodies because they ate contaminated meat, FIFA says.

Once again I ain't claiming Canelo's guilt, but given that we all have to acknowledge the possibility that the prevalence of Clenbuterol in Mexican (and Chinese) meat could be used as a cover for PED abuse I still believe it should be incumbent upon the athlete to ensure that they remain free of the substance. Other athletes in other parts of the world have to take significant measures to ensure they do not knowingly ingest anything on the banned list - is it really too much to ask that top Mexican fighters (and it is pretty much only top tier guys who get tested) take a few basic precautions just to remove the possibility or at least the accusations that they have been cheating?

I've seen posters claim that that is somehow an infringement of their rights - that it's unfair to deprive Mexico's brave warriors of their succulent Clen laced beef - but surely the rights of the dudes that are fighting them to be sure that they're on a level playing field should rank higher in our priorities?

I won't get into all that since it goes by beyond the scope of my post and I'm not making excuses for Canelo, only clearing up misconceptions about beef. But, clen is mostly for getting leaner cuts since no buyer wants to pay for low yield meats. It's a misconception that what Canelo took was for mass. No one uses clen for mass since it's a very poor choice for mass. It's essentially like ephedrine. A cutting drug. So, when people say he was bigger or he shrunk after, they don't know what they're talking about.

As far as Reynosos knowing, as you said, it's banned everywhere. It's odd to me that people think the Reynosos would somehow know certain beef was contaminated. Like I mentioned, I bought large quan****** of beef for foodservice for years and there was no way to know if one of your good sources was getting something from a farmer who was doing something illegal. If Canelo's claim is to be believed (which is not an idea trying to push) they likely thought they were being careful and found out the hard way that being careful is no substitute for testing.

All I can say is he looked very different in both fights.
                    Body wise.

Nope no chance, if it was simply a case of tainted meat then he would have tested positive previously, in fact you would see a lot more Mexican fighters testing positive. He is a cheater and his legacy is tarnished in my eyes
