Course you're right - at this point a battle with Commey would be (IMO) more meaningful in terms of fighting a quality opponent, but there's no doubt fighting Gamboa would create more buzz and that Yuriorkis is known by more people despite being way past his best.

I think that's the plan to pitch those two fighters against each other in order to build Tank's resume. Besides, Gamboa is gatekeeper status now. So he is a stepping stone for young, up and coming fighters.
