Sure cover your eyes and ears. It's hard to bear the truth ain't it.

Well good thing I don't have to be hard on you. Even your hero Floyd is apologizing for that lame performance.

Foul clinching ain't what boxing is about buddy.

Will you look at that straight from the horses mouth:

Floyd Mayweather: " I owe them for the Pacquiao fight "

I'm a Floyd fan but you got to admit, he didnt take the risks Manny has as a bigger, taller fighter with longer reach plus he ONLY fought 49 pro boxers in his extra long career!

Even though he had some controversial hometown gifts, all that matters is that boxrec says 0 losses!

What I'm sure of is Pacquiao's accomplishment belongs to the upper echelon of boxing history.

40 year old former flyweight champions aren't supposed to beat prime elite welterweights.
This 2 sentences sets Pac apart from all the rest. A small boxer climb mount Olympus and concurred it.

To put it in perspective. A boxer who used to be a light welterweight and climb 8 divisions and fought a heavyweight in his prime and beat him. That's a stuff of myths and legends..

The only evidence of Pacquiao being on PED's is his accomplishments in the higher weights. People are saying that he's doing is impossible, therefore he must be cheating.

At the same time, those accomplishments are being downplayed and people are claiming that his best wins are overhyped.

Pick one ffs. You can't have it both ways.

GrandPac did everything that TBE (not The Best Ever) is not willing to do (even though he has all the skills and political powers to do so)...

Manny is far from a 147 pounder, dude has been a 130 pounder as a grown man.

Like bread said, no flyweight champ ever had success at 147, this is nuts, and that's what make Pacquiao different, and greater in some aspects than Floyd, Floyd is greater in other aspects.

Manny is fighting at 147 because that is where fame and the money are.

Otherwise he would have probably topped at 135, wich is already insane.
Agreed. Totally. The man is a freak of nature. I do not know if he will ever truly separate himself from Mayweather, but boy that career he has assembled needs not apologize for anything.

No denying it. Crawford wanted that fight while he was still throwing leather at 140.

We will see what is next. If Manny signs to fight Crawford or attempts a shot at Spence, then he is aiming for all time great. If he picks easier touches, which he certainly can at this point of his career, than he is at ease with his legacy and is just enjoying the paydays that come with the fame he has.

Do people realize that CATCHWEIGHTS goes both ways for the boxers? The heavier boxer goes down in weight and the lighter one goes up to meet in the middle.

Catchweights are fair and both parties agrees to it- no coercions

People will appreciate Pacquiao more after he retires.
                      1. Wins against prime ATG and HOF fighters (Which Floyd obviously lacks)
                      2. Longevity (Manny Wins)
                      3. Record Breaking Accomplishments (Manny Wins)

I really don't see Floyd ahead of Pacquiao at this point. Also people needs to remember that Pacquiao's career below welterweight is way better than Floyd. Above welter they have almost the same career.

Greats before Pacquiao had their losses too, i don't understand why we need to put him down because of that.

Also i'm a huge fan of Leonard but people ranked him extremely high (top 10-15) which i don't agree. He is more of top 21-30 imo. Really short career, lost to Duran at his prime, defeated a past prime Hagler (amazing performance by Leonard but this was a close fight too). His top two quality wins were Hearns and Benitez.

If we used H2H as requirement for ranking great fighters, then we need to rank Heavyweights over any other weights because they would KTFO Ray Robinson and any smaller ATG in the list. That's why we must rank them using their accomplishments and not H2H.
