Being undefeated over twenty years half your fights against fellow champions isn’t that special, meanwhile winning is the number one goal of all fighters!...NO ONE TRAINS AND FIGHTS TO LOSE...NO ONE! P4P there is no question who had the greater skills (Floyd). And FK what they say the man didn’t just win he made it look easy outclassed just about everyone he fought INCLUDING PACQUIAO! So when it comes down to the bare bones of similar competition Floyd beat them all and in a fashion where he took lil to no damage, the deal breaker is the fight between them and Floyd outclassed Pac. Every Pac win after that only enhances how special Floyd is!
I agree with everything you said however Floyd did not outclass Manny. That was a shallow victory. And by the same token if the judges gave it to Manny that would be a shallow victory as well. Nothing happened in that fight no one was out classed.
They should critque SLR. He avoided Pryor and Hagler and was gifted a decision against a shop worn Hagler because he was competitive. He fought a drained Hearns at 147 when he was a Middleweight in reality. Was gifted a draw in the rematch. He lost to Duran and created the blue print for the Manny vs Floyd fiasco fight with the 3rd Duran fight.

PAC fought at 147lbs for the last 8yrs. JOE FRAIZER and MARCIANO were small in height also but they fought in HW div where there was no limit and men were 10 to 40 lbs bigger than them. PAC gets no pass because he fights in a division of 147 with a limit.

Marquez is the only one that could be debated.

yep, you are capable of rational thought.....

..... EXCEPT when it comes to Canelo

most of the stuff we argue about when it comes to Canelo, is absolute 100% common-sense stuff..... NO boxing knowledge required..... which means, we argue about rubbish..... well, you do anyways

He outclassed Manny by shutting him down, when an aggressive high volume puncher is shutdown to his lowest output it says he couldnt do anything, couldnt get off, couldnt cut the ring, couldnt throw without fear of being countered = outclassed.

yep I agree, except with Marquez.....

in the 3rd fight..... there is no functional difference whatsoever between Marquez facing Mayweather at a weight that was too high for him, 146..... and Marquez facing Pac at a weight that was too high for him, 145

the 3rd fight was a setup..... following his matchup with Floyd, they saw that Marquez looked old and slow at welter..... so despite Ariza and Roach publicly admitting that Pac was a natural JWW, who required 6 meals a day (including 3am/6am shakes) to remain at welter..... and then, only coming in at 143/144..... they demanded a catchweight of 145, despite the fact that Manny HAD NEVER WEIGHED THAT MUCH HIMSELF

they LITERALLY demanded that fight at the highest possible weight..... whereas, Mayweather had been a welter for years at that point

            that was a typical example of " manny-weight "

the 4th fight..... Marquez may have been better-adjusted to welter

and that was also the case with Mosley

they refused to fight Mosley TWICE, according to Freddie Roach, when Mosley was ranked the #1 welter..... they only considered Mosley 2 years later after the awful Mora fight, when it was clear that Shane could no longer pull the trigger

            #timing..... just like with Cotto

Bruce Trampler and Brad Goodman did a great job with Manny..... and yet, most pacfans have never heard of those guys

Mayweather fought Cotto at 154,comimg off a career win and was trained by a top trainer.
