Boxing commissions don't test boxers in America

Apparently, there's no commission that test boxers in the US. And to be tested, they would've to register with VADA or USADA which are independent/private bodies and pay a lot of money.

This is nuts in a country that's the PED capital of the world. Now I see why all American boxers are on juice in the most corrupt country in the world because no body will hold them responsible.

British boxers need to stop going to that shi..thole to fight until they get a body that's equivalent to UKAD.

Yep there's no mandatory random testing like UKAD in American boxing. Only voluntary VADA, The same VADA that passed Whyte. It's a PED free for all over there.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission handled drug testing for the Pac-Thurman fight.
Nevada is one of the 50 states that make up the US.
It's in the southwestern part of the country, not too far from Mexico. :-)

Because they were requested to do so by the fighters teams. Again voluntary, not mandatory.

I thought the commission did day of the fight testing, is that wrong?

remember the whole mayweather-pac original negotiations back in 2009, I thought the standard nevada test was a simple urine test the night or day of the fight, something like that. Basically a worthless test but a test nonetheless.

The problem with mandating random testing year wide is that most "pro" fighters working full time jobs only box on the side and could never afford year round testing when their purses are a few hundred bucks.

Their equivalent of UKAD is USADA. All they have to do is allow USADA to test boxers like they do all the olympic athletes.

I have no faith in the NSAC but they do randomly test fighters both in and out of competition.

Apart from the Nevada commission, NYSAC is actually the most corrupt in the US. Is that the same commission that allowed negligence make Margarito beat all the bones in Cotto's face in due loaded handwrap?

Nevada is very corrupt. Even the testosterone level they allow is 5x WADA's specified rules for testosterone level. So you can still use HGH and pass with Nevada, as long as you don't overdo it.

However, most times, they don't test boxers.

And the UKAD lets the fight go on even if one of the fighters fails the test.
