Comments Thread For: Felipe Orucuta Fully Recovered, Released From Hospital

Seven weeks ago, Felipe Gallito' Orucuta entered a boxing ring hopeful that he could once again fight for a major title. Fast forward to present day where he's grateful for a more rewarding opportunity-the chance to go home. The two-time super flyweight title challenger from Mexico was officially released from Mara Jos Roma Hospital in Mexico City on Friday after showing signs of full recovery from life-saving surgery. Orucuta had spent nearly two months in a hospital bed after undergoing emergency surgery to have a blood clot removed from his brain last June.

Thats great news. After whats happened in the last couple of weeks its good to hear somebody is actually getting better. Im sure Deontay Wilder and Curtis Harper would be disappointed but those 2 weirdos welcome death in this sport.

Good news. He should learn how to train fighters or get into commentary or something. Would be risky to enter the ring again

Wow, that must be some savage sparring sessions for Castillo. Where are the coaches?
