Comments Thread For: Gervonta Davis-Ricardo Nunez Weigh-In Results From Baltimore

Gervonta Davis made weight without issue Friday for a third straight title fight. The undefeated Davis, motivated by his hometown title defense, stepped on the Maryland State Athletic Commission's scale at 129 pounds for his 12-round, 130-pound title fight with Ricardo Nunez. Panama's Nunez came in slightly lighter than Davis, at 128 pounds.

Why is the Gamboa fight at 134? Him missing weight by a half pound ain't a big deal. He'll lose it

Half a pound can make a huge deal.

"Gervonta Davis made weight without issue Friday for a third straight title fight."

First off, don't act like that's some accomplishment. It's his ****ing job

Secondly, he missed weight on his first attempt LAST fight. If you need the extra hour, then you didn't make weight "without issue."
