Not the same situation, Fury was mandated to fight Wladimir Klitschko. Ruiz was a voluntary challenger, Fury didn’t have to sign a rematch clause to fight Wladimir but he did, he knew going into that fight that if he beat Wladimir and he exercised his rightful rematch clause then he would automatically lose the IBF belt for NOT fighting the next guy in line as promised to the IBF, just like GGG lost his title when he choose to fight Vanes instead of Dervy.

I would be shocked if the IBF strip Ruiz, if the winner of the rematch doesn’t fight Pulev next then yes they would still whoever it is between Ruiz and AJ.

Pulev is another punk ass chunp trying to get a free belt just like his daddy Arum snake coward. How can this clown expect to suddenly get a mandatory after being suspended & before that btching out of a fight vs AJ? Pulev is now saying"its been x amount of time" like hes not responsible for the amount of time by btching out at the last min because he has man tîts

Besides all of this Boxing fans should be boycotting these venomous snakes espn/TopStank pos after their fighter died & these snakes couldn't give a flying fck, making his family beg for donations from fans while this snake eats lobster & steak for breakfast lunch & dinner.

I hope Arum dies a horrible death,I been patiently waiting for yrs & now even more. Hes over 90 so should be soon enough if the universe dishes out any Justice

But the IBF was going to allow the rematch until Kathy Duva petitioned them to call the mandatory. The same thing that's happening here

Well Barry hearn said at the beginning of the week that the ruiz v aj rematch had to be all sorted and announced this week and still nothing, and with all the problems with whyte going on ruiz has stated he is NOT coming to the UK for that fight, so I would not be surprised to see the IBF make there title vacant if they feel the big money fight is in trouble, they will go where the most money at the end of the day.

Just because a promoter tries to get an edge doesn’t mean the organisation would dance to their tunes. The IBF hasn’t call their mandatory yet. When Fury fought Wlad the winner knew they had to fight the mandatory next. That was not the case when Joshua gave Ruiz that opportunity for a fight. No way would the IBF strip him, am sure Haymon would prevent that too in any case.

Joshua had the IBF belt before any other belt. He's fought one mandatory for the WBA. If the IBF I due then they'll call the mandatory. They haven't had one since he got the belt

The fight with Takam was a mandatory for the IBF belt once Pulev pulled

Thank you!! Pulev should have to wait his punk ass turn, NOBODY thinks he should get that belt for free or thinks he deserves next before AJ which is what hes trying to do. He literally btched out like the week of the fight v AJ if I recall correctly,so fck him!

Theres plenty of fighters who would've fought anyways injury & all if thats even true which I never believed

Oh ok. I wasn't sure. How did Pulev keep good ranking? I thought the IBF removed you for passing on a fight even if it was an injury
