This should be a great long list of fighters right?
Canelo isn't on that list though. he hasn't won a title at 147 OR at 175. You're giving him fictitious belts. Why not name him Heavyweight Champion of the World while you're at it?

Canelo has won real world championships at 154 and 160. I can name a lot of guys who have done that. Hell, Demetrius Andrade has done that. Combining the Charlos does that. Not that impressive.

Fair enough, although it's obvious this thread was started assuming he fights Kova AND defeats him for a 175lb belt.

Since when does a deposed champion have to "earn" a rematch? That's a new one on me, especially since Canelo got 2 shots at GGG.
It's standard practice to return the favour is it not?

if that happens without any stipulations then I'll give him his props.

I'm a big Canelo fan and I wouldn't want the fight at a catchweight, because then it doesn't really count.

You want to beat up a bigger guy, do it all full weight, same day weigh in even, just no catchweight.

Why I always give Floyd shiiit for 152lbs and I also think Pacs wins at catchweights are garbage. You're beating people, but they aren't at their best.

this isnt about the titles, you guys need to stop pretending that...
this is about money for ggg... ggg's career now revolves around the canelo payday.... there is a reason he rejected the Saunders fight and his dream to become undisputed when GBP gave him the order, and then for the rematch he gave up his ibf title using the canelo fight as an excuse to avoid his mando.... it was always about the money for ggg... what makes you think is any different now?
this is about money and canelo calls the shots...

If it's not about the titles, why is Canelo insisting on Golovkin getting a belt?

cuz he calls the shots... if he says jump ggg should say " how high?" ... by the way, is not about the titles for ggg, canelo at this point is earning enough to not worry about money ...

At 17 Canelo was at 151.
That is more than GGG. Who was only at 151 at age 20.
Remember how many times Canelo has fought at a catchweight.
