AJ can knock Ruiz into next week while being juiced up and Ruiz wouldn't know until YEARS later.

this is the real issue. the BBBoC is completely unable to handle drug testing.

no fighter should fight in the UK for a major bout until this issue is resolved. there needs to be language in the contract, and let's be real, in the f#cking laws, that mandates that everybody [both promotors, the alphabet org, governing bodies, and any drug testing bodies,] is informed of a positive finding.

that's incredibly pathetic if that's the story they stuck with. it's been a long, long time since i've seen homecooking like this. unless they're f#cking desperate you will not see any decent world champions or promoters leaving the US with a title.

this isn't cricket, either. smaller gloves? dude's juiced to the teeth and a governing body unwilling to tell an opponent? somebody is going to die.

Fury loop holed his way out of his situation but the end result you will get penalized badly in the U.K not the U.S moreso then not.

as usual, you have no idea what you're talking about. you're a clown in a thread defending clowns with a shrinking number of other clowns.

miller was suspended for six months by the WBA. that is a sanctioning body out of f#cking panama. his license to box in the US is issued on a state by state basis. there literally is no "US commission," and they certainly haven't suspended anybody for six months. Miller's application for a boxing license in his home state of new york was denied based on failed tests. his only active boxing license is in the state of Illinois, where he fought thomas adamek in chicago. Illinois has not suspended miller for six months or for any period of time, they have not spoken on the matter because he has not applying to fight there.

the commissions do interact with on another in the form of the "ABC" of the association of boxing commissions. they share information and the commissions have honored suspensions in other commissions.

and of course you buy in to the story that whyte's first suspension was for an over the counter. of course you do.

the guy is never going to box again in a civilized system, and they've all but ruined the chances of any major american fighter coming to england to fight for a title who isn't desperate for a payday. FFS they even ****ed with the gloves. you guys are pathetic and these threads are sad.

8 years? Give me a break. Americans, and British fighters have been caught before, but to end someone's career is too much. Unless they're setting new precedents and willing to punish all boxers going forward with 8 year suspensions, which to be honest is ******.

American Big Baby Miller just got caught a few months ago and where was the equal uproar?

are you aware that this will be the second time whyte popped for PEDs? even his own promoter has said in thepast that if you pop twice for peds you shoudl get a lifetime ban.

I'm mostly referring to the boxingscene reaction.

Acting like he's the first boxer ever to get caught. Happens every other month, yet there is a witchhunt and finger pointing at the UK and forgetting that us here in America get busted all the time as well.

because he was allowed to fight dude! holy ****, you even acknowledged this in your post. adn then you forget it pretty f#cking quick!

this was very blatant corruption. the drug test was covered up. an american journalist is the only reason we know about it. white's team even had him wear a completely different brand of glove from the ones agreed upon. this was a straight up sham and nobody is going back to england to fight for a title again!

The governing body (the BBBoC) was at the meeting. They're the ones who have jurisdiction.

The sanctioning body (the WBC) actually have no say in whether the fight is allowed to proceed, merely what role it plays in their ranking system. I think their presence is non essential in this case -and would quite likely have resulted in the hearing being delayed til after the fight.

The person who was IMO most essential to inform was Rivas or his team however and whilst the BBBoC and UKAD were abiding by their rules it appears critical to me that those rules are changed at the earliest opportunity. The idea that the opposing fighter is allowed to fight without knowing of potential risk factors is utterly wrong to my mind, regardless of the conclusions drawn by the governing body.
