You gotta admit ''lazyweight'' has it realities. I hope this coin phrase lives on! I mean Billy Joe at 178? no....way...I don't believe it..

BJS is 178 more often than he’s 160. I’m sure it’s no coincidence that he moved up once he pissed dirty too.

Remember the gut Billie had at the Kurdzhe press conference?

They then decided that he was clean and cleared him to fight, so there would have been no point telling Rivas about it..
That's your opinion! I would think that Yvon Michel and Rivas would think differently! Add that to the "glove" issue, and it sounds like a bunch of BS! If I'm Ruiz, I'm not fighting Joshua in the UK! You would not be so nonchalant about any of this if it were not Eddie Hearn!

And not a catchweight. Pretty sure boxrec even has it listed as a welterweight bout.
... sure... it was a WW bout: with Spence at 156½ and Chris van Heerden at 154½ on the scales...

Yup. Welcome to the Ontario commission.

That’s exactly why am pissed, this stinks to high heavens, you let that man fight knowing he failed a drug test, then you didn’t inform this opponents team!!! There is NO way they can spin this. And thanks for your previous post. Some posters on here thinks we are all fanboys. I couldn’t care less about nationality.. I would split things down the middle the way I see it, not because I carry the same passport as another boxer or because we have the same skin colour.

You’re one of the rational, Ray. Don’t think I haven’t noticed lol.

But it seems you’re part of a minority on here at least.

I really want to agree with everything in this post, but but but if it’s in the contract then Ruiz has zero choice but to honour his contract. I just don’t like this whole thing that smells like a cover up.

No worries Rex, I know we have had our battles and disagreements but have always respect yourself even when we don’t agree on things. Am just pissed that about boxer failing drug tests. In this day and age there shouldn’t be excuses, especially with what Whyte has been rumoured to have in his system.

Where are all the Matchroom celebrities fans like Bellew? Any comments from them yet? Anyways I don’t want to go too hard in before the “Team Whyte official statement” that’s coming out today.

What would they do to him? Sue for money? He can make more money! Wilder and Fury would love to fight him! Would they take his belts? So what! You can't eat belts! Hearn's fighter was dirty and he didn't have the decency to inform the Rivas camp! Hearn's fighter shows up to the fight "wearing" some gloves that were never inspected! That's just too much suspect activity by Eddie Hearn! I wouldn't feel comfortable sending my fighter to the UK, not because it's the UK, but because it Eddie Hearn in the UK!
