The problem is that it's hard to give any benefit of the doubt based upon previous track record. Same thing for Miller, Povetkin and also for Browne.

Regardless of what UKAD and everyone else's reasoning, I still think it's pretty shady that Rivas' camp wasn't notified. In my opinion, passing a drug test clean is similar to making weight; The fighter at fault failed to live up to the requirements of the fight and the opponent should be notified. This allows them to decide if they want to continue the fight or leverage a penalty from it.

I like Whyte, but this coupled with the glove allegations sounds pretty bush league to me. Of course none of this is a surprise to me in the sport of boxing. I just wish we didn't have to deal with these shenanigans. There aren't many other sports where this type of activity would be tolerated.

Like the time he was in Mayweather's case? when he, USADA and the NSAC were covering Mayweather's Illegal IV's? or the time when Nevada State Atletic Commission and USADA along with Mayweather threaten to sue Hauser for character assassination and Hauser told them to bring it! and all three of them backed out. Wonder why?

Husser has reported on everyone from Mayweather to Canelo to Whyte and The New York Athletic Commission guess what? he still undefeated.

Why would Whyte take an easily detectable drug so close to the fight, a drug that needs to be taken constantly over a period of time to have an effect? VADA didn't detect this drug.
And guess what it was obvious he was right When USADA and NSAC decided to press charges against Hausser, and Hausser said OK bring your sources I'll bring mine why did they back out? Why Mayweather did not bather to dispute Hausser's accusations? have you ever ask yourself why?

When Miller tested hot, he was out! He missed a $6 mil payday. Whyte tested dirty and they hushed it up, he still headlined. How is that fair?

You dumb åss even USADA admitted of Mayweather misbehaving, saying they gave permission to use the IV, which was illegal by the way, Houser presented the documents and disputed their claims reminding them that under the rules any commission albeit USADA, WADA, VADA NSAC, etc no Boxer/fighter is allowed to use intravenous IV's, unless the alleged fighter is severely dehydrated and has to be hospitalized, life-threatening yet they allowed Mayweather to use that IV's the night of the fight not 2 weeks after the fight as per rules.

By the way, it was an accident that they found Mayweather flushing the PEDs and USADA tried to cover it up but fail and Hauser being Hauser, exposed all of USADA's & Nevada's major corruption.

I would hope yes, but money doesn't talk in America. It yells. I'm not one to claim America is full of saints, but at least let the other guy know.

The other guy doesn't need to know in this situation.

UKAD, VADA and the BBBoC cleared Dillian Whyte to fight and tested him on the day of the fight. If they decided he was clean why do they need to tell Rivas anything?

If something bad happened to Rivas and it turns out Whyte was dirty (which has not been definitively proven yet) then it would be UKAD/VADA/BBBoC who are liable. Not Whyte and not Matchroom.
