Canelo proved he will fight anyone and is adding to his legacy. It's bytch boy GGG who is out begging for a canelo payday and will refuse to fight anyone with a pulse in the meantime. GGG has to step up and earn another Canelo payday and fighting guys like Rolls won't do it.
who cares about a strap u need to be beat with a strap worshipping corrupt sanctioning bodies. at 175 roidnelo will be a bloated roach

Can you explain that?
It has been widely reported that DAZN wanted Canelo to fight GGG for 16th de Septiembre weekend and Canelo was not on board. A bit later there were even more reports that DAZN would only approve GGG or Kovalev. The Kovaleve negotiations hit a stumbling block. That is when Canelo decided to give up on fighting in September. That was huge. Here is one account of many in the press, from Keith Idec:

"BoxingScene.com has learned, though, that DAZN executive chairman John Skipper still has only approved Kovalev and Gennadiy Golovkin (39-1-1, 35 KOs) as potential opponents for Alvarez’s next fight. Skipper only will allow Alvarez to fight Ukraine’s Derevyanchenko (13-1, 10 KOs) next if Alvarez guarantees that he would face Kazakhstan’s Golovkin a third time if he were to defeat Derevyanchenko." You can google many more accounts of Dazn's intransigent position from press accounts in the U.S. and other countries.

Fat Boy Dan was the first to report that Lou Dibella told him Golden Boy was negotiating a deal for dervy. But if they fight in Oct/19 or Oct/26 it's impossible to turn around and fight again in Dec. If Canelo fight Dervy or anyone else in Oct that's kills any Canelo fight in Dec and Kovalev would have to wait until May 2020 the earliest if Canelo ever fights him. But Fat Boy dan is now reporting like everyone else that Kovalev is back talking to canelo to skip the Yarde fight if that happens then Canelo is giving up the IBF belt and has no reason to fight Dervy at all.

Been hearing from multiple sources that Golden Boy is back talking with Main Events about Canelo Alvarez fighting light heavyweight titlist Sergey Kovalev in the fall after his August mandatory defense. If the Canelo mandatory fight with Sergey Derevyanchenko isn't finalized by Friday afternoon I'm told the IBF will strip Canelo of it's middleweight title. That deadline was part of the deal for the IBF to give them an extension for the purse bid. Main Events promoter Kathy Duva declined to comment. Golden Boy president Eric Gomez didn't respond to my inquiry.

They want GGG to fight a MexiCAN on Sept. 14th that’s why they approve of it.

DAZN treating Andrade like sht! Canelo was in serious talks with him until they said no and got in the way. Even ESPN Dan Rafeal said they meet twice the 1st week of July and it looked like that would be next for Sept.

We hate in his picking Vanes and Rolls over real fights. GGG Kansas City Shuffles calling for big fights then giving us sht can soup.[/QUOTE]

I think, no way Andrade comes close to beating GGG. I wasn’t impressed at all with his boxing skills last fight. No mechanics, just running. GGG will smoke him quick if he comes out with the lunges and beer brawl hooks. Canelo even will give Andrade major issues.

Don't forget that GGG had a clear win the first time around but was robbed. Mostly everyone ringside, media and fans, and fans at home saw GGG winning convincingly. The second one was closer and could have been a draw at best. What I'm trying to say is that Canelo is acting like he beat him soundly two times. I don't know why DAZN isn't reprimanding this. The Kovalev fight is a good fight but when you look at what's really happening with GGG you'll realize it's still a ploy to avoid the man.
Canelo is not avoiding Golovkin. Canelo considers GGG to be an odious parasite. That notwithstanding, Golden Boy was negotiating with Golovkin's folks for a September fight. Those negotiations stopped when GGG refused to fight anywhere but New York City. Now a lot of folks will say it is because Canelo owns Nevada judges and other such drivel, but it really comes down to money. New York has high taxes plus NYC adds additional taxes for these events. Las Vegas is much more tax-friendly, plus the Casino's put up much more cash than New York, plus Canelo and Golden Boy can generate more revenue from endorsements in Las Vegas than in New York...follow the money!

I think GGG should fight Spike O'Sullivan for 15M, instead of Munguia. I mean that’s not a bad fight it’s not that bad definitely a step up from Rolls but he’s a natural super middleweight, Jaime is huge. It would be a fun fight, but it's also a meaningless fight, especially when Canelo also fights on DAZN.
