Andy Ruiz smiles: I'm not going to the UK to be set up!!!!!

If he suffers an "injury," he won't get sued.
I mean Joshua is in the power position and the rematch will happen, but these are the types of things Ruiz can do to get himself a better deal. Also depends when he has to rematch Joshua. Within what time period does the rematch have to take place?
Ruiz also can go to other networks.
These shenanigans involving Hearn can be argued to demonstrate bad faith in negotiation, and invalidate the contract.
They can at the very least get the venue changed. Especially given the Eddie Hearn was involved in this.Comment

Bear in mind US heavyweight Tony Thompson benefited from this silence when he fought David Price and the test result wasn't made known for a long time after. I think Fury also fought after failing a test.
It's something that needs to be sorted out, an absolute joke. Hearn is also a villain here, he knew and let it go ahead which is morally wrong even if it isn't legally wrong.
Of course the B sample could exonerate Whyte, but they rarely do.Last edited by Weebler I; 07-24-2019, 11:15 PM.Comment

Set up how?
He would probably be robbed on a DAZN show in the UK or NYC.
Hearn isn’t just going to let Haymon have all the heavyweight straps so he can hold them hostage like Wilder.
If Ruiz is keeping the belts he’ll have to knock AJ out again.
If AJ really was physically or mentally not right then he can show the first fight was a fluke.
I think they’ll give Ruiz some more $$$ and get the fight in the UK.Comment

They're not, but UKAD and the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) clearly is, which is crazy really.
