Ruiz is in the power position, he has the belt, and Joshua is damaged goods without a rematch win.

Ruiz also can go to other networks.

These shenanigans involving Hearn can be argued to demonstrate bad faith in negotiation, and invalidate the contract.

They can at the very least get the venue changed. Especially given the Eddie Hearn was involved in this.

They're not, but UKAD and the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) clearly is, which is crazy really.

Bear in mind US heavyweight Tony Thompson benefited from this silence when he fought David Price and the test result wasn't made known for a long time after. I think Fury also fought after failing a test.

It's something that needs to be sorted out, an absolute joke. Hearn is also a villain here, he knew and let it go ahead which is morally wrong even if it isn't legally wrong.

Of course the B sample could exonerate Whyte, but they rarely do.

          Set up how?
He would probably be robbed on a DAZN show in the UK or NYC.
Hearn isn’t just going to let Haymon have all the heavyweight straps so he can hold them hostage like Wilder.
If Ruiz is keeping the belts he’ll have to knock AJ out again.
If AJ really was physically or mentally not right then he can show the first fight was a fluke.
I think they’ll give Ruiz some more $$$ and get the fight in the UK.

Hearn’s amazing 2019 continues. What a reality check this year has been for his minions.

I imagine it would be more fair. Historically the big robberies have come out of the US, biggest ped cheats have come out of the US.

              Ya'll merrkans forget all this?

Nope. He has to sit out 10 more months and contract is void.

Exactly... Without a negative B sample the Saturday fight has to be a no contest... I'm pretty sure GYM lawyers are already on the case and ready to push the "Send" button... And there's also that shady Gloves story to deal with... Seriously, Whyte is in deep s-h-i-t if all happen to be true...

Hearn recently pulled two of his fighters out of fights near the fight date over opponents dirty tests when he didn't have to but he allowed Rivas to go in blind like that? Thems dirty doings my dudes
