I said he would choose Thurman. His history shows he likes fighters that have lost in there last few fights or looked bad. Look through Pacquiao's record, full of fighters that are coming off recent losses/bad performances. His team know how to pick them.

In some cases it may. In some cases it may not. It's on the case by case basis. Like I said, there's nothing wrong with that logic, but it doesn't always apply.

Let's use you Roy Jones example. Roy Jones had not shown a glass chin until AFTER he moved down from heavyweight. He did not show diminished reflexes and agility until after as well. See how we can CLEARLY pinpoint the different between pre HW Jones and Post HW Jones?

When Kell Brook fought Spence he looked extremely sharp and confident. He was getting the best of Spence until the body shots and pressure wore him down. His reflexes were still sharp. Hell, Spence couldn't Jab the first 3 or 4 rounds without getting countered with a jab that came over his own. Kell Brook performed well and gave a good account of himself. What's different between that Kell Brook and Pre Golovkin Kell Brook?

I tend to agree, Pac's win is the best. Hopkins over Pavlik is close, but he pulled him up to a catchweight that clearly was outside Pavlik's comfort zone.

I'll always take division weights over catchweights, which represent gamesmanship of a different kind.

Think you will find after RJJ fought Ruiz he only snuck a MD against Tarver, which many thought he loss then he go, then lost 3 on the bounce getting knocked out twice.

He always had that glass chin, just his reflexes made it so he never got caught,

Moving up and dropping back down damaged him.

PAC was regular WBA champ, it only made sense he would fight for the Super WBA strap. PAC was technically the challenger. Spence has a fight with Porter and Crawford is a Top Rank asset. Harder to make that fight.

All were good opinions; however, Manny is in a league of his own.

Like I said. Moorer proved little prior to his fight with George, his win over Evander was razor thin and Holyfield was not 100%. Thurman’s wins over Danny and Porter place him above Moorer in my opinion.
                LOL, I am done here.

                Good day sir.

MD as if Thurman didn't have a SD vs DSG and a close win vs Porter?

Moorer was a top three HW heading into the Foreman fight after beating Holyfield. Thurman was also seen as the third best WW right now...Only difference is he was inactive and didn't look good in his last fight.

Pac having did what no ww in history did, srr, srl Archie Moore couldn't do.

Pac s win is the best. He is a former flyweight with 70 fights under at 40. Thurman was the most proven out of spence, Crawford. Thurman didn't look great in last fight before pac, but history don't look at that. Thurman was great fight night with pac. Totally different to man who fought lopez
People seem to be forgetting that Thurman was beating the p!ss out of Lopez until Thurman got caught by a huge punch...and still Thurman survived and came back to win the majority of the rounds after he was hurt. Thurman showed the heart of a champ and the conditioning and skill of a champ. Pacquiao now has the best win of any 40 plus year old. Not only did Pac win...he stood and fought like a young, prime champion....This win is better than any others that have happened. It was an inspired and unbelievable performance.
