Orlando Salido WAS an Uber Driver. David Peralta IS/WAS a cab driver. And Alex Leapai has PIE in his name.

I never could verify what Nigel Benn said about Reginaldo Dos Santos being a "Mexican street sweeper". No data to support that.

I've personally adopted the Shannon Briggs word "pie" to describe low level boxers

I cringe every time I see someone use ''bum'' on here.

I'd rather someone use the word Diva as a replacement for coward but only if it really fits the fighter.

Even the lighter words word ducking or avoiding doesnt really fit some scenarios and doesnt tell the entire story. For instance, some people thought Bradley ducked Khan years back but Bradley received word that he was going to get 5 million for fighting Pac and he did the right thing and take the much higher paycheck. That was smart of him.

Boxing is the only sport where you can be in the top 1% and still get called a bum. It’s either boxing has some of the worst fans or the worst athletes. I prefer to think we just got bad fans.

Low level opposition is exactly what I would say. I don't see any point in being a psuedo-egotistical tough guy behind a keyboard/phone, disrespecting people that have the heart to get in the ring

This is my view as well. Anyone who boxes pro, amateur, or even sparring deserves credit for doing so. It takes guts on any level. And even to be an easy touch as a pro for much better pro takes a certain skill level the armchair boxers will never have.
