No one strung Dillian Whyte along. Stiverne was WBC mandatory and then Breazeale was. That was crystal clear to everyone except for apparently Whyte and HearnSSSSS!

You're missing the point...why was Stiverne mandatory? What did he do after losing to Wilder the first time to earn it? Why was Breazeale put in a final eliminator with the WBC number 9 who hadn't beaten anyone with a pulse for years? Why was it so much harder for Whyte to get an opportunity when he was higher in the WBC rankings than those guys?
To sit at number one and not get a mandatory fight for 2 years while people lower in the rankings were moved ahead of him wasn't fair or impartial as the WBC clearly favoured PBC fighters.Comment

He will get his shot eventually.

Very simple, Alexander Povetkin is responsible : as you may know he ( Sasha ) failed multiple PED test, the WBC ordered Povetkin vs. Stiverne as a final eliminator, GUESS WHAT? Povetkin failed and the WBC had no choice but to withdraw sanctioning. You're missing the point...why was Stiverne mandatory? What did he do after losing to Wilder the first time to earn it? The WBC was legally pressured by Don King to resolve this issue, the next man in line was Luis Ortiz ( who Whyte ducked in a final eliminator to fight Parker on PPV), Wilder had already wanted to fight Ortiz, so Bermane agreed to take step aside Money to let them fight on the condition that he would face the winner, AND ONCE AGAIN another failed PED test -- this time by Luis Ortiz came about. So Bermane was contractually owed a mandatory because he had done his part, its not his fault that these guys cant get sanctioned over PED violations : the WBC had to make Stiverne mando by default and legally, or they get sued.
Hope this helped.Comment

“We need the British public to stand behind him in support the resolution,” notes Hearn.
