This is the only part I will completely disagree with below and Floyd knows deep down inside it’s disingenuous to say this but the rest of what he said one could make a case for it. As someone who generally likes Floyd as a fighter, I cringe when he doesn’t give Manny any credit for what he has done. When you use words like “entire legacy,” come on Floyd, really? Why can’t both of you be great. Different fighters, different career paths, different styles, different earnings, different accomplishments inside the ring but both 1st ballot sure fire HOF’ers without question. Come on Floyd AND Manny, stop it already with the disrespect to each other, especially Floyd. He comes off so damn insecure, relax man.

Why do people care about a match between two 40 year olds?

I see articles about this fight as if people won’t immediately bash the fight right after it’s done. Historically, no one cares about two old boxers fighting. People care more about an old boxer beating younger boxers. Like what Hopkins did or what Pacquiao just did.

It’s the writers fault that this is happening. They can’t just stfu about this damned matchup as if it was great in the first place.

And I agree with Floyd on this one, why keep attaching his name to everything Pacquiao does?
