this is not about teddy. this is about PBC making the pac vs thurman fight. PBC cherry picked manny because they felt that thurman was going to win. so with a win over manny, when the thurman/spence fight comes around, the fight will be a lot bigger. manny is not a PBC fighter by the way. a win over manny, PBC can now promote thurman to be the next star.

manny is only on a 2-3 fight contract with them. where as for thurman, he's their guy. PBC thought they could cherry pick pac but it back fired on them. just look at the reaction from ellerbe and floyd.
