Not sure how much it costs to book Wembley but I doubt its millions,i know football games go as high as 700,000 .

Edit : Parker helped sell out the O2 as well Wilder vs whyte has to double that at least.
I guess you didn't watch it properly because of the lighting. There were empty seats everywhere.

Events like boxing, NFL games and concerts do mess up the pitch unlike football. And they tend to charge them more. Also, they won't be renting the venue for one night - they would've to rent it for at least 3 days to do a lot of things before the final event. So say it's 700k for a day: that would mean a minimum of £2.1million for the fight.

Also, that's Parker and it came directly after he fought AJ and a big expose to Brits. Wilder doesn't have that type of cache. Not saying there aren't people who care about Wilder out here but the crowd are mostly chavs who won't pay to watch a fight.

Look at Luke Campbell who used to be the British golden boy (the hype around him might be than AJ's after the Olympics) before he disappeared fighting a guy like Lomachenko - why didn't Hearn take the fight to Wembley?

Man Whyte sure has bounced back since the loss to Joshua! He has taken all the big names and tbh has one of the better resumes in the division. He deserves the title shot, the WBC is playing him what a joke.

Pulev would be another good one for Whyte.
