When All the Dust Settles, Pac Is STILL Standing

    Longevity

Manny Pacquiao 24 years so far (1995-present)
Juan Manuel Marquez 21 years (1993-2014)
    Floyd Mayweather 21 years (1996-2017)
Marco Antonio Barrera 22 years (1989-2011)
    Erik Morales- 16 years total (1993-2007, 2010-2012)
    Tim Bradley- 12 years (2004-2016)
    Shane Mosley- 23 years (1993-2016)
    Miguel Cotto- 16 years (2001-2017)
    Lucas Matthysse- 14 years (2004-2018)
    Antonio Margarito- 18 total so far(1994-2011, 2016-2017)
    Joshua Clottey- 20 years so far(1995-2015, 2019-present)
Brandon Rios- 15 years so far(2004-present)
Oscar De La Hoya- 16 years (1992-2008)
    Adrien Broner- 11 years (2008-present)
    Keith Thurman- 12 years (2007-present)

I think it's fair to say that Pac has outlasted all his major opponents. Pretty darn impressive to be in the game this long and now back on top.

The man is a walking miracle and a gift. To still be able to compete at an elite level at such a late stage in his career is absolutely amazing.

Won his first world title as 19 yr old Flyweight, 21 years later regains the world title as a 40 yr old welterweight. It’s absolutely unbelievable, we’ll never see anything like that again IMO.

That's why there's no better time to retire than now. So many people said, "He's shot" but we saw him at a good 75 to 80% of his former glory. But, time waits for no man and there's going to come a fight where he ages "overnight". I hope he hangs them up before we see that.

Right now, he's managed to shake off so much negative weight (Horn fight, killer instinct gone, etc) and has reached a real pinnacle.

Likewise, gonna look into that now. That blows my mind that he had a decent amateur run
