What gives you the idea he doesn't have that kind of power, if you don't mind me asking?Last edited by Mammoth; 07-22-2019, 12:49 PM.Comment

I kind of agree with their sentiments. Manny is 40 y.o. now and doesn't need to take the punishment that a natural young powerful middleweight(on fight night) in their prime like Spence can dish out even though they are fighting within the welterweight limit.
Nevertheless it is still an intriguing fight. I will wait to see how the Spence-Porter fight unfold just like Manny will I believe, before deciding whether it is a suitable fight for Manny.Last edited by cjeagle1; 07-22-2019, 01:13 PM.Comment

Enough said. What the hell has having more Welters in the books got to do with not fighting Crawford? Dont they care about the sport?Comment

Sad that 40 year old Pac had to jump in and fight these top fighters in a STACKED division who are just waiting around wasting their careers fighting BUMS!Comment

He broke Brooks orbital after it had been badly broken on the other side by the definitely pretty powerful GGG, which makes the other side less stable as well. Bundu was his best KO but Thurman isn't one time like he suggests so not a very good litmus test seeing as Bundu is not elite either. Any elite opponent and Spence's power is slow and punishing rather than quick and really hard. I thought he took his time breaking Brook down, it didn't happen quickly. Not saying its ineffective but he wouldn't be putting the lights out on Porter with one punch early unless he catches him with something perfectly timed. He just beats people up with punches in bunches often, and he can ice the slightly lower tier chins.Last edited by BoloShot; 07-22-2019, 01:54 PM.Comment
