“If commissions handled it strictly, state laws would provide more funding to employ simply for it instead of athletes contracting advanced anti doping agencies.”

    =

I want the rules to be different and I’m complaining that they aren’t.

    Hence, ''advanced.''

Because VADA is a terrible organization with ineffective drugs testing. I think you’ve said it yourself!!!

here's the thing; you need a unified body to determine which fights are "major" and then to draft or adopt anti doping policy and enforce it for those fights.

states all do this independently at the moment. then you have other countries that generate a ton of money and have title fights of their own. it gets sticky. it's usually fighters, promoters, and governing bodies who bring in extra drug testing. so you have this mess we have today.

i agree completely that it's crazy to think that the nevada commission, or the new york commission, who have been responsible for so many major fights, have not adopted stricter drug testing on their own. it's obviously based on pressure from promotors, who gain nothing from extra drug testing except for a huge liability going into every major fight. they all know what's up and they benefit hugely, especially in las vegas, from fights not getting cancelled or main event fighters being replaced.
