Just... logically it makes no sense.

In this day and age, where everybody is juicing even WITH testing... you have a high profile fight.. and you choose NOT to have testing?

    That is really REALLY weird.

I mean from a rational logical point of view... why the hell would you opt to not have drug testing and risk your opponent being juiced to the gills lol...

Without throwing out any accusations...That is really weird.

It's not something that just slips your mind either, like Pac fans would have you believe. Pacquiao intentionally avoided it.

Im trying to be as unbiased as possible because I picked thurman to win..

But if you're clean.... WHY would you choose to not have drug testing and risk your opponent juicing.. especially now when everyone is getting caught..

How does that in any way make sense?

The only reason you would choose not to have drug testing is if you're not clean lol. That's literally the ONLY reason. There is no other reason.

Both fighters basically agreed they wanted to use PEDs through camp. Thurman was still rusty. Pac is 40. Since both wanted PEDs then why pay extra for testing, that will come out of the fight expenses.

They can pass the testing anyways its just more pain in the ass and more expensive.

Fury testing for nandrolone back in February 2015 is the last time I can think of an actual steroid show up. You really think no elite pro boxers have used roids in the last 4 years? Or you think they know how to beat the worthless tests.

It’s not uncommon, it’s just not something that’s usually talked about.

all that testing is expensive. I don’t want it coming out of my purse

It’s definitely weird since I thought comprehensive random drug testing is what had become the standard in fights of this magnitude

most likely pacquiao being the A side forced the no test thing to thurman, thurman wanting the money had no other option but accept, The End

People are super naive when it comes to PEDs, I dont get it but for whatever reason they cant fathom their sports heros using steroids.

They come up with lame arguments like oh people dont understand how hard these guys work blah blah blah. Of course PEDs dont do the training for you. You train as hard as you possibly can and then what? What if you want to go beyond that? Then PEDs help. Oh so and so fighter has declined some so that is proof they didnt use PEDs. Just lol, PEDs arent magic, they are just part of a modern athlete's regime. Its basically impossible to make the Tour de France without being on PEDs because everyone else is on them. Most of those guys never failed a single test, they know how to beat the tests.

The number one biggest proof is how many older fighters today are still at the top level compared to the 1990s and earlier. Its not protein shakes and BCAAs. Its PEDs replacing the natural testosterone drops of men in their 30s.

More nativity in that they think they can tell someone is juicing just by looking at them. Well James Toney and Tyson Fury dont fit that bill but they both tested positive for actual steroids.

Todays era of "old" fighters in the late 30s early 40s:

                    JMM
                    Pac
                    Floyd
                    Hopkins
                    Wlad and Vitali
                    RJJ
                    Tarver
                    Sergio Martinez
                    GGG
                    Stevenson
                    Mosley

Previous Generation - shot by the their early to mid 30s:
                    SRL
                    Duran
                    Hearns
                    Ali
                    Holmes
                    Whitaker
                    JCC

We basically got another 5-8 years out of pro fighters competing at the top levels of their division within a 30 or so year time span. This is the number 1 biggest indicator of something is up. You think boxing training methods and protein supplements changed that much in 30 years?
