Dude... He dropped your guy 4 times... 4 times !!!!!

That in itself is enough to ask whatever he wants, right ?

Should have thought about that before you signed the contract.

Yes it makes sense when you sign a contract with a REMATCH clause with PRE-DETERMINED conditions..

Hearn already threatened to sue yesterday.. Ruiz has no power on the matter.. his purse is not even further negotiable..

I wouldn’t be surprised if Al Haymon put up the shortfall on legal costs for him to break the contract. They don’t want a rematch really. If it ends up going that way AJ’s career will stall badly.

If it's true that the contract has a stipulation that Joshua gets to choose the venue that the rematch takes place in then there's not much Andy Ruiz can do but to fight where Hearn and AJ want the rematch.

Thing's to go back to normal Dec 14.
              Location doesn't matter.

Sue on what grounds? There is no contractual obligation to fight in the UK. If he had no power the fight terms would be set and Hearn would be talking like he was regarding Wilder negotiations.

I'm more comfortable on a yacht in the Caribbean with a pina colada and hot women then a hot humid room with light beer and a stuffed Grandpa ,that doesn't mean I have a choice of the two.

Legals costs? Thats not the concern, its the court injuction preventing him from fighting and the governing bodies stripping him of the belts.

Honestly I wonder if people think these things through before they comment. "He's the champ, he decides and calls the shots", if that was the case why on earth would anyone sign a rematch clause, it would be worth nothing.

Seriously, does anyone think a rematch clause doesn't specify timeframe, split/fee & who decides location?

Ruiz / his authorized agents signed the contract before the fight, time for negotiations is before signing, did they specify rematch to be in the US or they choose location, no, case closed.

Now the rematch might be in the US if Joshua wants it there, but it will be their call.

No one here knows the particulars of the rematch clause. So stop pretending like you do.
