That’s how I think it pans out as it makes the most business sense, but I’m hoping Pacquiao rides off into the sunset, that was a fitting end to a legendary career IMO. I’d be a worried about a 41 year old Pacquiao fighting a huge and dangerous welterweight like Spence.

Saying he doesn’t “deserve” another shot is maybe a little harsh tbf, but I just feel there far more interesting fights to be made. I’m assuming Spence beats Porter and I’d much rather see Spence fight Thurman, Danny Garcia or even Crawford if they can somehow negotiate a deal. I just wouldn’t view Ugas as a credible threat to Spence unless he adds a few more legitimate wins to his resume.
I respect your point but he has earned his shot the hard way, taking some 0 off some good fighters. He was spencer mandatory and was never mentioned, porter stepped to the plate instead, and to me he was completely lost in there. his face says it all at the end of the fight. He knew he loss that fight. They were some fans that thought figueroa would kick Ugas a$$. They gave him no chance, just like they did against porter. I think the guy can fight and will hang with anyone at 147.

Ready?! Figueroa was incredibly bad, not sure how he even qualified for a title shot eliminator! Figueroa started the fight trying to lean on Ugas with no game plan or intention to do any damage. To make it worse, Ugas let him do it and would just grab an arm like he was tired and trying to catch his breath. That was from round one?! All Ugas had to do was spin, change angles or step back and fired that jab and follow it up with pretty much anything. It took Ugas most of the fight to figure that out?! Ugas seemed to have no clue how to control distance to be effective and against someone that basically wanted to survive.

Not sure why Ugas was just walking forward to lean on the guy and again from the very first round!! Assuming Spence beats Porter, Ugas is gonna get smoked or even hurt.

I dunno man, I think he’d be tough fight for certain fighters at 147, especially DSG and Porter stylistically. However, elite guys like Spence and Crawford are a level above and deal with him comfortably IMO. Ugas is a solid fighter with good skills, but he can’t be views as a legitimate threat to Spence or Crawford, I mean it wasn’t to long ago he was going life and death with Dulorme.

I agree with your point on him doing it the hard way though, took some L’s early on and fought his way back into contention. He was the away fighter against Dulorme, James and Perrella and managed to get the W.

I think a decisive win for either legitimises either as credible opponent for one of the champions.

It’d make for an interesting and fun undercard fight too.

Ugas is not an elite fighter. Only the four are; Spence, Porter, PAC, and Crawford...

Common sense is after the Spence vs Porter winner takes on Pacquiao or Crawford.

To all who thought Thurman was going to win against PAC.
                WHERE YOU AT???

Ugas is feather fisted. Spence will destroy him. Notice how Figuerora took all of his shots and kept coming for 12 rounds lol..his holding and trying to maul will play into Spence body assault. Ugas does not hit hard enough
