Speed and timing i'd say. Can also hit back immediately while being hit as he parrys punches very well.

Manny sometimes doesn't look at his opponent when throwing punches because he knows where their head is going to be. When he lunges in with his left hand, he'll drop his head avoiding whatever's coming back while connecting with his own punch. He doesn't have to see his opponent because he already knows where their head will be.

Written in his book that he fires at where he thinks the target will be not where it currently is
Anticipates the location of the mark with the strike

Theres the tangible aspect: the speed, he's unorthodox, the angles he creates, the power.
But more than that, it's the intangible: the determination, the commitment to land (and potentially take a shot in the process). The will to win. -- Growing up in abject poverty will give you these traits, they can't be taught.

This thread makes me realize how much of a genetic freak manny is. Possibly more athletically gifted than Floyd [clearly superior in the reflexes department]
Not Roy Jones or Tyson but close.

I mean he was never a good public speaker but he looks much more comfortable now at the presser last night.
Call me crazy but he will be a future president in the Philippines. Mark my words, he has a lot of good yet to do and IMO will fight at least 2 more times before he hangs it up.
Its about leaving a last legacy for him now and he is showing it.
Spence vs Porter gonna be interesting because Manny will be fighting the winner.

He's a great fighter, an ATG and we had the privilege watching him in his prime.
