Pac has given everything he has to the sport and two countries came together to support him over the years. What he did last night is once again, put himself in rarefied air. Pac is the oldest fighter in history to win the Welterweight title and I doubt our life time will ever see another fighter equal that record. That is a world record as well as his other accomplishments. He transcends this sport and many people both in sports and outside of sports do not have to feel like being 40 is old. Those people can get up out of their chairs and exercise, become inspired, eat well, and get into the best shape of their life if they put their mind to it. They may not win a title, but they can change their lives and not succumb to age-related illnesses so I would bet Pac has inspired many people in many different ways.
Yes I did. It was a PARTY!! It was an edge to your seat type of fight. The flow of the fight was ebb and flow. I thought it was going to be an easy night for Pac. Thurman fought like a champ and fought back hard. Epic, Epic fight! One for the memories!

That said, Yup, Pac has done it all. I think this is Pac's 9th or 10th time he defeated an undefeated fighter as well. Just tells you how good he is plus all his accolades.

The guy is a legend. Let's enjoy him in his almost certain farewell tour is just around the corner.

    Cheers!

      - And Yes, I agree. He transcends sports. He is an inspiration to 40 year olds and up, that age is just a number and we can all look fit if we put some discipline in ourselves. The guy motivates.

Even 65 isn't that old, man I just saw a video of a 74 year old man who sailed all the way to Hawaii. I ain't shttin you. Here, peep this maf.

Christian Williams sailed to Hawaii and back at age 74. Man flew his family there, had a vacation with them, and sailed home. He has some minor problems enroute, but dude is cool...just parlayed in Hawaii and hit the hardware store, fixed it up...luxury problems, that is.

It is great when someone can inspire so many to do things they are told they cannot do because they are too old.

I am very certain that it could be long after everyone on this message board has been planted in the ground before another fighter comes along and wins the Welterweight title at 40 years of age. Pac's passion for the sport is among only a handful of fighters in history that still has that fire at this age.

Yeah, Manny genuinely love the sport. For the love of the game as MJ would say. Only a few can reach these heights. Rare indeed.

Yeah, with all that thrash talk he said, even blasphemous words about crucifying Pac. What is important he was classy in the end. He knew he lost to a better man.
