Pac has given everything he has to the sport and two countries came together to support him over the years. What he did last night is once again, put himself in rarefied air. Pac is the oldest fighter in history to win the Welterweight title and I doubt our life time will ever see another fighter equal that record. That is a world record as well as his other accomplishments. He transcends this sport and many people both in sports and outside of sports do not have to feel like being 40 is old. Those people can get up out of their chairs and exercise, become inspired, eat well, and get into the best shape of their life if they put their mind to it. They may not win a title, but they can change their lives and not succumb to age-related illnesses so I would bet Pac has inspired many people in many different ways.

I am glad to see Thurman showing humility and good sportsmanship. I like him more now than before the fight when he was so disrespectful. The fight was close but he is not saying he won like many other boxers might do.

In all fairness to KOTT, he was playing the heel to try and sell the fight. Thurman's a gent of the sport and has enough humility to show Pac the respect he deserves.

Like I told my boss, Pacquaio is like Old George in that regard. Foreman said something like '45 and 55 is not a death sentence. We can do whatever we wanna do' with Al Bernstein interviewing him, way back in the grip. **** yeah. Even 65 isn't that old, man I just saw a video of a 74 year old man who sailed all the way to Hawaii. I ain't shttin you. Here, peep this maf.

Christian Williams sailed to Hawaii and back at age 74. Man flew his family there, had a vacation with them, and sailed home. He has some minor problems enroute, but dude is cool...just parlayed in Hawaii and hit the hardware store, fixed it up...luxury problems, that is.

Or this old Venezuelan guy, saying Venezuelan because of his accent.

Holding the bar is what ultimately ****ed him over, because when Zangief rose and landed the jab, you can see his hand still on the bar loosen the grip when his peaches got shook, but he still held on to the bar.

Old bastard was lookin for body shots too with that ugly right hand. The old timer may have been in the wrong, we don't know. What we do know is, Dee Jay may have been friends with the cameraman, and more than likely the escalation was edited to make Zangief look like he assaulted Dee Jay. But that's just my opinion, stemming from personal experience. She kinda clowned on him, called him Pinky hahahaha. thanks for the nostalgia.

It’s hard to dislike Thurman currently after being so classy in defeat. He was one of my top 3 fighters at one point until it was clear he was ducking Spence & talking so much trash about Crawford. After last night it’s difficult to not like him though after the performance he put on & how he acted after the fight.
