I always thought somebody was going to have to KO Thurman. He seemed to have the best ring IQ with the legs to get away. He was frail, from the time his head lumped up, he always got hurt especially with body shots. For 40 year old Pac to get a decision never crossed my mind.

Pac is a legend man nothing more to it. He definitely looked his age in the later half of the fight. I know he said he's got at least one more in him, I hope he flattens Khan in either Saudi Arabia or the Philippines and then calls it a day.
      I don't know why there's a suspension for that!

Or maybe, just maybe, a 40 year old PAC exposed that Thurman isn’t really that good after all or that Porter or Garcia aren’t that good. So I’m not falling for the smoke and mirrors of last nights win. It was a tremendous win for PAC at 40 and adds to his legacy and all time greatness. But Spence and Crawford would have dominated that version of Thurman last night also in more convincing fashion I believe. And I believe both would beat PAC who would be over 40 years old by the time either of those fights are scheduled. Until I see Spence and Crawford not dominate an opponent in the ring, I have to get them the edge over a 40 something year old PAC.
Could not agree with you more. Thurman also stayed away from his usual gameplan which is to stick and move. Good things happen when you don't allow the trashtalk from the opposing team persuade you to abandon your preferred natural style - theres no reason Thurman shouldve been trying to duke it out in Pacquiaos competent preferred style of fight.

But as you said, I don't know if the prior "better" Thurman was in there to even land accurately enough with his boxers style. Leonard came back with his patented style for Duran, and Duran looked like a totally different individual (as you already know). Theres this "truth" in boxing: Styles makes fights. And theres no reason you should ever abandon 'your style,' regardless of what haters WILL say....or urge you to do....

Think about it only ppl who diss Pac are the younger fighters and fans. They constantly compare whats going on to Spence and Crawford like they have proved enough. This is the weakest era of boxers.

Maybe nobody is good. Maybe the four horsemen were not as elite as they are made out to be. Maybe you're blowing smoke out of your exhaust
