In some circles yes, in others, no. Showtime recognizes the WBO, Fox doesn't. Has nothing to do with PBC. When Showtime PBC events show on screen graphics of a division's champions, WBO champions are listed. On Fox PBC, they aren't listed. Even if it's a PBC fighter.

It's mentioning another fighter on your platform, a platform in which the other fighter will not fight on. It's giving that fighter promotion during YOUR pay per view. Casuals may see him as a champ and want to check him out, so yeah, it's giving him promotion. Shouldn't be that hard to understand

It's hard for a lot of them to understand. If this was a Fox Sports news show then they should mention him because that's unbiased objective news. Like Top Rank doesn't have to mention anyone but TR fighters but Sportscenter has to because they're reporting sports news. People can't seem to understand that.

Well maybe they should of changed the graphic so it said "Not all Welterweight Champions" instead of saying "Welterweight Champions".

But like i said, by not wanting to acknowledge Crawford in an attempt to not promote Crawford they have got people talking about Crawford. With Bud on the list we would of all forgotten they even put that up there and we wouldnt be talking about him. With Bud missing it stood out, people noticed and now people are talking about Bud Crawford and questioning the pettiness of the PBC.

So all in all its really worked out to be ironic.

Before the fight they showed that graphic when they said let's take a look at all the champs at welterweight and then showed that graphic is really a low moment for PBC. Intentionally lying to the public and not mentioning or showing Crawford. And idiots think there is a chance Spence is fighting Crawford next or any time soon. Hell no, PBC is trying to freeze him out. They are creating a alternate universe to fans where none of the other champions including the guy that everyone says is either #1 or #2 pound for pind best fighter in the world.

They are separate leagues with different belts specifically just for their own leagues. They mentioned all the boxing belt org champs EXCEPT WBO which Crawford holds. If they wanted to say these are all the champs at PBC maybe you could get away with that but saying these are all the world champs ag welterweight and ignoring not just 1 but the guy who is rated ahead of all of them pound for pound makes them look like propanda you would see in the news from a 3rd world country that doesn't have free press.

Fox doesn't recognize the WBO. Has nothing to do with Crawford. They won't mention Ruiz's WBO title in on screen graphics either.

If that's the case then I actually support that. They're all bad but the WBO takes the cake in terms of being transparently corrupt. It should be de-recognised

That is a real lame attempt at a comparison. But like i said, their attempt at a lack of promotion of Crawford has resulted in promotion of Crawford. It seems everybody noticed his name not among the list of champs even though he is one and now we are all talking about him.

Crawford should be mad at Arum for not making the Pac fight. That could have been him beating the **** out of Pac on PPV, but Bob didn't want to make the fight.
