Again, Duran would be first to admit Pac s greater. This is what we call a passive aggressive thread.
I don't need to start a thread with "what would duran needed to have done more in his career to be considered as great as pac" because it is what it is. Pac s better, he just is.

I'll give you both Marquez fights though the 2nd one was very close, but the 3rd fight, Marquez boxed his ears off and they wanted to see the Floyd vs pac fight so bad, they robbed him bad.

I'll give you Cotto because he did go on to knock out Martinez, but he was 1 year removed from a brutal beating by loaded gloves supplied by Margarito. but I'm till going to give you that one.

I'm not giving you moralez because even though he beat Pac the first time, their 2nd and 3rd fight was after wars with Barerra and he was shutout by Raheem(a fight i had picked Raheem to win on another boxing site. The only one to do it). Hatton was just ko'd by Floyd and he was never anything special. Mosley and DLH were old AF, Bradley is nothing to brag about.

Pac's win over Thurman is equivalent to Duran's win over Barkley. SRL, moore, Those are 3 prime opponents on top of their game. Barkley had just upset hearns. So on paper, he has hall of fame fighter in dlh, morales, jmm, and mosley, but that's why we watch the fights. If we're doing that, then Chad Dawson has 5 wins over Tarver, Glen Johnson, and Hopkins. But let's not forget all of them were in their 40s and his first fight with Johnson is nothing more than a draw or clear Johnson win. He was hurting Dawson all night in that fight. horrible scorecards. But yeah, can't just look at the names..

turpins win over srr might Trump duran s win over srl, but turpins not greater. Let's judge whole career. None of this best win is better than your best win my dad is bigger than your dad line of debate.

If Pac beats Spence convincingly, then he is greater than Duran

no doubt about it. And I don't want to hear any excuses from Spence fans just as i don't want to hear excuses from Pac fans when he gets knocked out.

Manny is definitely the closest thing to Duran in last 25 years. Whether you like him or not, his accomplishments through all of the weight classes is impressive.

Now head to head at their peaks, I'd lean towards Duran but barely.

I think they’re very different tbh. Don’t really see the comparison aside from them both being ATG’s.

                      Ray Lampkin
                      Davey Moore
                      Esteban DeJesus x2
                      Pipino Cuevas

also beat 2 guys that defeated the great Alexis Arguello
                      Vilomar Fernandez
                      Ernesto Marcel
Palomino was a nobody that never beat anybody, really? Finished with a 31-4 record when fighters had lots of fights. I would never mention this guy, nobody remembers no Palomino.

                      Buchanan has a few wins.

Barkley, come on dude. Barkley was shet.

Lampkin was a nobody who was fighting 11-21 bums in highschool gyms before fighting Duran, come on man! After he lost to Duran he fought a 5-5, a 7-3, and a 1-1 fighters.

Davey Moore lol? He was 12-0 when he fought Duran and ended up 18-5, who cares about Davey Moore again?

                      Esteban, good win good fighter.

29-8 Cuevos that ended up 35-15? Pipino never beat anybody.

Fernandez got Arguello at the end of his career and right after Pryor stopped him in the 14th, really dude?

                      So basically you have --->
                      • Leonard
                      • Buchanan
                      • DeJesus
                      • Barkley
Nowhere near Pacquiao's total resume. Granted Leonard prime is better than anything Manny has done, no fight there.
