pac got a win at 40, over a REAL ww who is in his prime. hard to beat that. canelo is the better fighter no doubt, just the timing is what put a sour taste to it.

I still think Canelo at that time would've beat Thurman easily. Especially with the gameplan he had tonight.

This win tips Pacquiao above him in the ATG list. Beating a prime undefeated welterweight for his belt at the age of 40 puts him top 10 all time IMO.

Boxrec already has Pacquaio #2 all time.

But they still have Mayweather #1 by a wide margin.

Cant really gauge Lopez then he was fighting with multiple injuries, wasn't training as hard because of those injuries, and just using his name for the paycheck. I agree that the Canelo win is better though even outside that reasoning.
