    If you thought Manny was very fast, quick and strong in this fight, imagine him four years younger, in 2015, going up against a 38 year old Floyd and being handed a clear loss.

      Pacquiao stepped up, took a risk, and won. He deserves the credit, and is definitely getting it.

      Let Floyd fight another featherweight kickboxer and we can all talk about him then.
      Until then, appreciate the fighters who actually performed and risked it tonight
      Again, not addressing the overall point of my post. All I’m saying is you cannot use age to excuse Manny’s loss to Floyd anymore. Manny looked very explosive and won another the WBA strap. He was 36 years old when he fought Floyd and looked terrible against him. It’s a testimate to how great Floyd is.

          go rewatch that fight without fanboy goggles on and you will see pac landed the much cleaner flusher punches. nothing will ever change that just like nothing will ever change your view that floyd won easy because thats what you want to see. in reality a guy should win a round when he lands the cleaner flusher punches but if in your mind a guy wins the round when his name is floyd

            The only problem most fans have with Money’s victory over Manny is the fight took too long to get made. We started talking about in early ‘09 right after Oscar & Ricky got destroyed but we only got to see it 6 years later. 6 freaking years coz’ Floyd demanded Manny to sign with TMT & give them a couple of fights first !!!

              floyd looked even worse. his jab rarely landed and when it did land it was a feather touch. his lead punches were almost non existent besides a couple rounds in which he was willing to take risks and his counters were almost non existent besides a couple open handed left hook taps. basically his distance was way off in that fight. it prevented him from taking a lot of punishment but it also prevented him from landing anything of substance. pacs speed and ability to close the distance made him hesitant and he never got any leverage on his punches besides a couple good rounds. pac meanwhile took his time and rarely got hit clean while getting through with clean hard shots that rocked floyds head around. cant believe you are trying to use that pathetic floyd performance as some kind of positive.

                I agree and the same for Marquez.

                Think about how great those dudes had to be to beat a younger version of Pacquaio then, who's still beating undefeated champions today?

                    Obviously.

                    To claim he was shot in 2015 when was P4P #2 and WW #2 is just a joke and totally disingenuous.

                    Since his loss to Floyd he's beat;

                    Bradley
                    Vargas
                    Matthysse
                    Broner
                    Thurman

                    1 loss to Jeff Horn that many think he won.

                    It's impossible to claim he was shot in 2015. Literally impossible.
