Im sure most of us have seen drug amd alcohol abuse destroy people to the point their unrecognisable within that time period even in ordinary life. Let alone effect performance at high levels. Now my point about Ortiz is how shot he was against both Scott and Dave Allen, understandable since he had a circulation system illness, which is what high blood pressure is. It effects cardio, makes your heart work less efficiently, tires you quicker.Wilders weight doesnt reflect any loss of power. Several people are on youtube describing sparring with him in the time periods leading up to both the Ortiz and Fury fights. All describe him as a devastating puncher. Weight doesnt mean power, Bhop has mentioned that a few times. I mean, despite Ernie Shavers being one of the hardest hitters in history, Rid**** Bowe said nobody hit him harder than a 206 pound Herbie Hide. David Haye was described as a devastating puncher by many who fought him between 209 and 220.Mike Tyson punched hard between 214 and 218 according to guys like Mccall. Sure Wilder is taller, but so what? Freaks have always existed in boxing. How many 5 foot 6 guys like Qawi chewed up world level lightheavies? How many 40 year olds outpace and outspeed young top level fighters like Manny still can? Freaks exist. Only you doubt Wilders power. Performances where Wilder was heavier and got early stoppages werent because of extra power, it was indisputably because he was fighting far lower level opponents.
Fury had a full year to recover with tuneups, this wasn't some overnight weight loss. Wilder's weight loss was far more severe, the man was 6'7 212lbs.

Mike Tyson used to be coked up in the ring in his PRIME, Jon Jones has been abusing coke for close to a decade in his PRIME, there are a plethora of athletes, especially combat athletes that use ******* and were just fine.

Ortiz shut Scott out who was in pure survival, Chisora lost multiple rounds lol.

David Allen went the distance with Whyte lol, got stopped vs Ortiz even trying to survive.

Whyte practically collapsed from exhaustion vs JP. You really don't know what you're talking about.

**** Whyte AND Aj have worse cardio than Ortiz, in fact even Wlad used to gas, most notably vs Brewster.

    Haye is 6'1 220
    Tyson is 5'10 220

These guys were short, compact and HUGE for their weight. Wilder at 6'7 212 was a stick. Do you comprehend that weight scales?

Wilder turned pro at 209.Hes effective at the weight hes at. Hes obviously doing something right power wise. Like i say, your the only one who doubts hes power. Literally the only person who follows boxing. Wilder never lost 8 stone to compete, so how on earth can you say he's weight loss was more severe than Furys? Lol, theres no proof Tyson was coked up in hes prime in the ring. He mentioned the Saverese fight in hes book, do you think that was hes prime? Do you think Lou was top draw. Fury had slipped into some of the worst shape in boxing history, of drugs and alcohol abuse, 350lbs, and your trying to compare him to a prime Mike Tyson. He's warm up fights proved nothing. He still boxed Wilders ears off though. As for Ortiz, he suffers from an actual illness, but in your mind hes still in prime Cardio shape. Never mind irrelevancys like Chisora stopping Scott in 6,Ortiz was totally shot by then, not the man who stopped Jennings. Dave Allen was a complete punch bag, nowhere near world class, and Ortiz laboured in that one against a guy he would have stopped easily years earlier. But to summarise i get where your coming from. Wilders not a puncher and everyone who says he is, everyone who fought and sparred with him when he was below 220 dont know what theyre talking about. Furys 8 stone weight fluctuations and bad habits have had no effect on him whatsoever, because he beat a couple of guys who aren't even top 50.And Ortiz having high blood pressure in hes 40s has no effect on hes cardiovascular system whatsoever, and all this is because you want it to be so because you dont like UK fighters lol Them guys who show no determination, like Saturday night when compared to your own illustrious career. Yeah, i think i get it
