Asian fighters will dominate the lowerweight class.
as for Arce, Vic Darchinyan is his biggest nightmare. He will be KTFO if he will try to be El Terrible fighting the best.
Asian dominating the lowerweight class? How so? Each Asian fighter gots a Mexican fighter they fear.
Example Viloria will get KTFO if he faced Arce...Bautista will get his head cut off if he faced De Leon, or even Mares. The list go on, and i will say it again, Asians will never dominate ANY weight class, true ****. I dont care if it aint the Mexicans that dont dominate, all i know is that Asians will never dominate.Comment

Next Mexican greats, I think Juan Diaz and Abner Mares both have potential. They are both undefeated and possess a lot of skills.
As far as Asian fighters dominating the lower weight classes, it's not impossible at all. Japanese and Thai fighters are already on their way.Comment

The problem with that is that there are not anywhere near the prospects coming out of japan as there are coming out of the latin world. As stated in other threads, MMA is the combat of choice in Japan.Originally posted by SuckaPunch

It is because we get to see Latino prospects on American TV and none of the Asian prospects so we think Asian prospects aren't as good as the Latinos. If not for Pacquiao, Golden Boy promotions wouldn't have recruited Filipino prospects in their stable. I've never seen a Thai fighter on an HBO card before last week, when Ponce DeLeon KTFO that Thai. It's beginning to be more competitive especially in the lower weight classes and Asian fighters are getting more exposure today than in the last decade.Originally posted by Black JesusThe problem with that is that there are not anywhere near the prospects coming out of japan as there are coming out of the latin world. I cant really speak on Thai fighters because im just not that familiar with it. I can only speak for japan. Because of my time in the country and my familiarity with the people and culture, thats why i made that statement.Comment
