Actually Barrera was the rightful WBC titleholder at 126 when pac fought and beat him. Barrera won that belt against Morales but because he was mad at WBC he gave it up but he never really lost it until he fought pac. By beating Morales, Barrera took the WBC and lineal title.

He beat Hatton at light-welterweight (Hatton was the man and undefeated at 140; Floyd forced Hatton to fight at 147)

He fought and beat Marco Antonio Barrera at 130 lbs for the For WBC International super featherweight title

He fought and beat Ricky Hatton for the IBO Super Lightweight title

IBO and WBC international do not count as real belts, Manny Pacquiao never won a real major world title belt at the 140 or 126 pound division. He is not an 8 division champion

No it’s actually not. The only place the lineal title is relevant is in the heavyweight division, you cannot form a long lineage in lower divisions because boxers are constantly moving up and down weights.

Also, the lineal title has no belt or physical presence. It’s intangible/not real.
