If you've heard him trying to handle an interview unprepared, he sounds utterly confused and you can see him searching for the words. Obviously I can’t speak like I know him personally cause I don’t. But from following amateur career, he never came across as this “charismatic, humble, thoughtful role model” he’s portrayed as today, the amateur Joshua didn’t give a sh** about any of that nonsense from my perspective. He just had his fight, then left.

He was always pretty quiet, especially compared to other guys on the scene like Stalker or Fowler. I can honestly never remember him doing interviews or interacting with fans or the media. I never got the impression he really wanted to box like a Ogogo or Josh Taylor, I just think he was naturally and athletically talented and knew he could earn financially from it.

I don’t think AJ is comfortable in front of a microphone whatsoever, that’s why I think his management decided to manufacture this fake personality.
