DAZN will only approve two opponents for Canelo, Kovalev and GGG.

Kovalev couldn’t fight in September so Canelo is waiting for him.

After that, who else can he fight? The only fighter left on the approval list is GGG.

And GGG was in negotiations with Jaime Munguia for October assuming he lost out on Canelo for September. So we know he ain’t losing before May.

At this point I wouldn’t bank on a 3rd GGG fight ever happening.
That Mexican pride has Canelo wanting to stick it GGG and not give him another payday. DAZN may have made promises to GGG but Canelo has no obligation to him.
