as an offensive fighter like manny, there's just no way you can go thru a fight without getting hit once. even defensive fighters get hit. i dont know why fans like to make up this narrative that manny has bad defense. ?

All Pac needs to do is dip his head down to his left more often than sticking it up to lure the other guy to jab.
And needs to move that lead foot outside of the other guy more often.

According to punch stats, Pac was hit some 192 times.
Give it -10. He would have still been hit 170 times.
Way too much.
Go argue with someone who said Pac has zero defense.

Teddy Atlas has said much the same; Pacquiao has fundamental flaws that he was able to get away with in the past because of his exceptional speed, but--much like Roy Jones Jr.--diminish that speed and his vulnerability skyrockets.

if manny doesnt care about the fans and just box keith. pac will easily outbox thurman!! but knowing manny, he will be aggressive and push the pace of the fight and this will give thurman chances of landing on pac. but if manny really just box thurman, he'll beat him easy.
