Thurman is 100% correct in his assessment of Manny. It's funny for Pac fans to try to explain about Manny's defense.

Manny's greatest strength is his awkwardness. Having slowed down he just simply isn't a great fighter anymore. Thurman will show us that very soon.

Pac has holes in his defense.
He does get nailed with a right lead whenever he stays in the pocket too long setting up his right hook counter over a jab. But, that could be due to age and Pac losing some stamina now so he doesn't move all the time now.
Thurman only moved his head well in maybe two rounds the whole fight .
Thurman is not very good in defending when he backs up .

as an offensive fighter like manny, there's just no way you can go thru a fight without getting hit once. even defensive fighters get hit. i dont know why fans like to make up this narrative that manny has bad defense. ?
