If the stories behind the scenes are true it sounds like the fight not happening is more on GGG than Canelo. But thats assuming the GGG didn't want the fight in Vegas stuff is true. You cant be 24 rounds deep and duck someone. No where is it written that Canelo is obligated to fight GGG every calendar year. GGG has outlived his usefulness to Canelo and more fans would like to see Canelo fight a guy like Andrade for example than another GGG fight. Its just business GGG is still incredibly dangerous and takes tread off a boxers tires that in combination with Canelo frankly wanting to move on is why GGG will never get another Canelo fight. GGG has a contract for 6 fights at about 16 million a fight for a total of 100 million. He gets the exact same money for fighting anybody else as he does for fighting Canelo. Canelo is not costing GGG any money by not fighting him and as a DAZN expert you know this mayne. Canelo and some of his fans don't want the third fight with GGG because they think he might lose. GGG and his fans do want a third fight with Canelo in a neutral city because they think GGG will win it. All the stuff about GGG getting a belt to earn the fight is BS. Canelo would not fight GGG even if he had defeated Andrade. Canelo is not trying to unify 160 like he said he wanted to do. He lied and doesn't give a damn about unifying 160. Canelo is not fighting Andrade like he told GGG to do. He is not fighting at all and giving up his IBF middleweight title instead. Kovalev may be old and well past prime but I still think he will beat Canelo even in Vegas.
