Yarde hasn't fought anyone remotely close to this level and will have to do this in front of Kova's home crowd. He has a huge task in front of him, and will get all the props from me if he can pull this off. Maybe he hopes Kova will grow old overnight.

Warren was hoping that Kovalev would give up his belt so that Yarde would be able to fight for a vacant title. Just like Billy Joe Saunders did.

I think maybe Frank is confident but he’s risking his golden goose. I didn’t think that highly of Dubois after seeing him look vulnerable and then he outboxed, outclassed and splattered Gorman. Maybe Yarde will do the same.

If Yarde has a really good chin I think he wins. It will take one mistake by Kov and he’ll get mauled.

Hearn has good advice. Get Tunde out to annoy the whole of Russia and team Kovalev. They’ll forget who they’re meant to be fighting after 5 mins of “lions in the camp”

I wouldn't say now is the right time to fight Kovalev, if anything for a limited power-puncher like Yarde it's probably the worst time. Kovalev has gotten too old to be able to constantly bulldoze for 12 rounds, his endurance won't handle it any more. In the Eleider Alvarez re-match he went back to skillful boxing, and that is what will get him either a very wide points win or a late stoppage against Yarde.
