Even prior to that, he had good opponents but not very good. Mosley was game but out of his prime, and Tito was out of his prime and weight class.Comment

Originally posted by Briman15Baldomir with a good win tonight would have beaten Judah and Gatti in his last two outings. These two fighters are both better than anyone Margarito has beaten. I know there is not a massive argentine fan base in America, but this guy will become a huge star in his homeland with a win tonight and this is not a nation that is unfamiliar with producing great boxers. Carlos Monzon for exmaple. I just can't see why Floyd shouldn't fight baldy instead of Margarito at that point and try to become the undisputed #1 at 147. Isn't that what everyone was complaining he failed to do at 140. If Margarito wants to become part of this discusion, maybe he should beat a relevant opponent in this division. Don't tell me no one will fight him. I guarantee you that Judah or Mitchell would be happy to. Frankly based on his wide punching and lack of speed either would probably beat him. If Baldy wins tonight, he will be the man at 147 and the guy who Floyd should take on next.Comment
