Literally only 2 months ago his fans were saying he should go for undisputed...after Canelo himself said that's what he wanted to do.

Now 2 months later the belts don't mean anything to him, he already basically dropped the WBC, is essentially going to drop the IBF, and he should drop them all...lol man I mean do you not see the irony here

Rotation only matters when there are conflicting mandatories.

He vacated the WBC. The WBA hasn't ordered a mandatory. So the IBF doesn't have to wait for a rotation. If the WBA demanded that Canelo defend his super title against the WBA world champion, that would put off the IBF mandatory if Canelo was fighting the WBA mandatory next.

Being the IBF, it's highly likely they will.

I totally get that but my message is the same especially after the WBC Franchise BS. He might as well Drop them all

As for Belts meaning nothing for Canelo...well they don't! People are going to tune in and watch him fight regardless if it is for Belts or Not

Historically IBF has been very strict so they should strip him, if they don't it's bribery from Delahoya.

I hear ya...honestly he is bigger than the belts for the most part...they always add something but for the most part he is bigger than them.

And to be honest I also can understand his fans just more or less backing what he wants to do...I just think it is funny that in the course of 2 or so months the narrative was that he and his fans were going for undisputed...and then once the realities of how tough that would be set in, the goals change lol.

But yeah he is bigger than the belts for the most part...I do agree...it is interesting that he seems to be telling DAZN to shove it in a way...they are paying him so much money, I would think he would submit himself a bit to them and be a good employee and take his $350 million.

Will be interesting to see what all happens there.
